The following report gives an overview of the 11-month Smart Farming Data Ecosystem project which tested the desirability, viability, and feasibility (DVF) of integrating data sources using the Telstra Data Hub, a platform that facilitates secure and seamless data sharing and collaboration among various stakeholders and technology sources. The platform was deployed to connect multiple CSU IoT and farm data sources and trialling the use of the platform with various CSU and project stakeholders such as research students and analysts. The results of the project showed that the Telstra Data Hub can enable a smart data ecosystem for farming, where data from various sources can be securely and seamlessly shared, analysed, and visualised. The user feedback indicated that the platform was easy to use, reliable and useful for research and decision making.
