Today we are proud to share that the fourth Food Agility project has commenced, with our latest addition being 'Data-driven Regional Development: Gippsland'.
This project will provide a detailed case-study of the ways data and digital farming are currently being used in one of Australia's most fertile and agriculturally productive regions.
The final report, due in November 2018, will provide a great cross-sectional understanding of the established (dairy) and many emerging industries in Gippsland such as olives, garlic, saffron and truffles to highlight gaps in both infrastructure and knowledge that will ultimately affect the productivity and profitability of the region.
