We are tremendously excited and proud to announce that the Food Agility Board has received three new world class additions during the recent October Annual General Meeting.
Professor Kate McGrath is the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) at the University of Technology Sydney, where she provides the vision and leadership that is driving Australia's #1 Young University towards national and international profile in research engagement and innovation. She has held previous leadership positions at Victoria University of Wellington and the New Zealand Government's Innovation Crown entity.
Philip Marcus-Clark AM is a member of the J P Morgan Advisory Council and served as Chair of the CRC Advisory Committee of Innovation and Science Australia from 2015 to June 2018. He holds a highly impressive caliber of prior governance experience and offers deep experience and insight in driving successful organisations.
Jacqui Wilson-Smith has been a long-term driver of strategic innovation in Australian food and is currently the Global Innovation Manager at McCormick; she is currently also serving as the Co-Founder and Chair of FAN (Food & Agribusiness Network). Jacqui is a leader in commercialisation of agrifood innovation and brings a wealth of experience in this space to the Food Agility Board.
As we welcome these new additions, we must also express a great gratitude and appreciation to our two outgoing Board Members, Prof Michael Eyles and Dr Mirjana Prica who have greatly contributed to the development of Food Agility right from the bid phase through our all important establishing year. It's great that we are able to recognise Mirjana and Michael as Founding Directors and we wish both the very of best of luck for all their future endeavours.
